CREATE CHAOS

O Generate is based on a set of chaotic generators. What appears to be random contains underlying patterns, interconnection, constant feedback loops, repetition, self-similarity, fractals and self-organization. Each of the 5 chaotic generators Generate bring these underlying patterns together and create an oscillator that can fade smoothly from a sine wave to total chaos, with a swath of territory to explore in between. Musical textures created include distortion, harmonics, grunge, static, and noise. All of this can be modulated in a predictable or unpredictable way.

CONTROL THE CHAOS

The chaotic generators of Generate are routed through your choice of a Buchla wave folder, or a new Animated or Fractal wave folder, each adding unique overtones. Followed by a low pass gate inspired by the ideas of Don Buchla. These modules combine to create a versatile, musical voice with its own unique flavor.

MODULE CHAOS

Each parameter in the voice of the Generate can be modulated by a combination of two envelope generators, two LFOs, a sample and hold/shuffle generator, an 8-step sequencer, and MIDI and MPE sources. The innovative modulation interface lets you quickly and easily send any combination of sources to any destination, creating sounds that move and move you.
