O DeBoom is a specific tool for surgically solving common low-frequency equalization problems. Kick, bass, and similar sound sources can contribute to low-frequency “muddying.” Traditional equalizers “solve” the problem, but cause collateral damage – the drum beat disappears along with the boom. The bass attack is launched with its resonance. O DeBoom solves this problem using company's patented Structural Split technology. Eventide to equalize the tonal part of the sound separately from the transient. Advanced users have done just that using the full SplitEQ plugin. We put the power of SplitEQ into DeBoom and we've reduced it to a single, powerful one-button gesture.
The heart of DeBoom . Whichever instrument you process, the DeBoom analyzes the received audio and separates these components into their respective Transient (noise, pops, microphone plosives, vocal sibilance, attacks) and Tonal (sustained notes, harmonics, tone, ambiance) elements.
DeBoom uses this information to apply specially created equalization curves to the tonal layer of the input audio, removing boom and reshaping sounds instantly.
